Hello everyone!!! Amber and I are still on the road here in Europe. For the past couple of months we've been sticking to the Balkans region with an extended stop in Bulgaria and now Croatia. Bulgaria was a pleasant surprise for us as we stayed in the capital, Sofia, as well as in the 2019 European Cultural Capital city of Plovdiv. Admittedly, we didn't know much about Bulgaria beyond Cold War politics, but in our time there we discovered a country with a proud past and wonderful traditions.
While in Sofia, Amber and I were able to connect with the international school there, Anglo-American School. It has an incredible campus with a leadership team that is always looking for new areas to explore as well as opportunities for their students. As Sofia was winning us over, we even discussed joining the faculty as AAS! But, alas, it was not meant to be. However, we are going to keep our eyes on the school as it just may be another program opportunity in the future!
So for now, we are a few days into Croatia and there's a lot to explore. In case you forgot, we have been keeping up with our YouTube channel, documenting our travels. It's no Spielberg, but were happy to keep posting shots from our time here. Here's our last one from Bulgaria! Enjoy!
